Who is Ali?
I started programming in 2015 and have since grown into a full-stack software engineer with professional experience building scalable applications using React, TypeScript, C#, .NET, and SQL. My work has included modernizing legacy systems, developing microservices, designing ETL-style data pipelines, and building applications that prioritize reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Over the years, I’ve worked across insurance, consulting, analytics, and startup environments, contributing to everything from event-driven AWS workflows to AI-assisted application features. I enjoy solving complex technical problems, building clean user experiences, and thoughtfully integrating Generative AI into workflows where it can improve productivity, automation, content generation, moderation, and developer efficiency without overcomplicating the user experience.
I’ve also worked with technologies such as Next.js, Neo4j, LangChain, and LLM-powered tooling while continuing to focus on practical, maintainable solutions that deliver real business value.
Outside of software engineering, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time at the beach, studying history, reading Islamic books, listening to podcasts, and experimenting with new technologies and developer tools.
